Mcnaughton Review 2009

Elfen’s Creative Director Guto Evans has been selected as one of this years Mcnaughton Review design Judges, “After a lot of success in the competition since 2000, it’s fantastic to be selected as a judge. It will be a chance to see the best work from across the UK.”

Not so fresh news!

Back in September last year we visited Manchester for the Fresh Awards 2008. We picked up a Bronze Award for the Cwmni Da branding, and highly commended for the Ffotogallery book, it was a fantastic night at the Imperial War Museum.

Cardiff Design Festival

The festival has been and gone! Elfen’s work was again featured in the the festival, and on the awards evening picked up the Best Design for Print….

Bastardised

Bastardised, is the culmination of Bunch’s global identity project.

The book showcases the wealth of creativity, beauty and humour found
within 289 of the Bunchisms specially selected from 750 contributions.

The project includes work by designers and illustrators Malcolm Garrett, Jonathan Ellery, Paul Davis, Marian Bantjes, Stefan Sagmeister, James Goggin, Carlos Segura, Build, Paul Insect, Vince Frost, Si Scott and ELFEN!

Restaurant and Bar Design Awards

Elfen’s identity for the Food Hall Abergavenny takes part in the brand new Restaurant and Bar Design Awards…

More recognition. Mwy o ddathliadau.

Elfen’s branding work for Sherman Theater has reached the shortlist for the Canmol Marketing Awards 2008. There winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Cardiff on the 9th of October.

The Awards are a celebration of excellence in ideas and execution, and one of the winners will be chosen to represent Wales in The Chartered Institute of Marketing UK Awards to be held in Spring 2009.

Fresh Creative Awards for Elfen / Manceinion yn Galw!

Two Nominations + A trip to Manchester =  The Fresh Creative Awards, Thursday 25 September 2008 at the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester.

Fresh 2008 is in it’s fifth year of recognition for outstanding creativity and innovation across the UK, this year had a record number of entries from the best of the best agencies in the UK.

“With two nominations on our first attempt, we are so excited to be visiting Manchester later this month for the awards, it’s recognition for the hard work that we put into these projects for Ffotogallery and Cwmni Da and the passion and commitment shown by the client” Said Guto Evans, Creative Director.

Shout Design Showcase / Gwobrwyo Dylunio Da

Shout is the Robert Horne Annual Awards that recognises innovation, excellence and creativity in design and print. Two design pieces by Elfen have been highly commeded by the judges. Work for Shani Rhys James OBE and Volcano Theatre feature in the publication.
